IMPORTANT Timely Reminder Behaviour Expectations BFNL and BFLW Football and Netball

21 May 2023 by D Pittard

Dear All Clubs and Members,
We are touching base with all BFNL and BFLW Football Netball Clubs with a timely reminder of sportsmanship, integrity and respect in sport. There have been some instances that have occurred over the past few rounds where lack of respect has occurred towards officials of the game and players.
Positive and appropriate actions and behaviours of each and every individual involved in Ballarat Football Netball League is essential to ensuring safe, fair and inclusive sporting environments.
You must ensure the standards of the Fair Play Code are applied by demonstrating the five core principles that will lead to fair play for all:
➢ Integrity
➢ Respect
➢ Responsibility
➢ Fairness
➢ Safety
Please be aware that BFNL Staff and BFNL Board members will approach you if Codes of Conduct and the Fair Play Code are not being applied.
There is no place in Ballarat Football Netball League for poor behaviour. Please remind your members of the codes of conduct and the Fair Play Code.
