An exciting update for Redan Football Netball Club members: Looking Ahead to 2025
As we close out 2024, I’m thrilled to share how the Redan Football Netball Club (RFNC) is shaping up for the 2025 season. From players and coaches to sponsors and volunteers, the foundations are set for a strong and exciting year ahead.


Here’s a quick snapshot of what’s happening:

- We have incredible players and coaches signed up and committed to success.
- Our loyal sponsors—both new and returning—continue to invest in our club’s growth.
- Volunteers are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure we’re ready for Round One.
- A new Board has hit the ground running, determined to make 2025 a season to remember.



We’ve achieved so much already in the off-season, and there’s plenty more to come. Here’s a deeper look into what’s next:


A new era: meet the board

At our AGM on 1 December 2024, we acknowledged the incredible contributions of our previous Board and volunteers, whose hard work has put RFNC in such a solid position.


We also welcomed a new Board and structure to guide the club in 2025:

Our purpose: reconnecting and moving forward

We know RFNC is more than just a club—it’s a community. To ensure we’re all moving in the same direction, we’re doubling down on our purpose:


The RFNC is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment that treats players, supporters, volunteers, community and commercial partners with respect, appreciation, and support.


Our priority is to develop individuals through team sport to be the best version of themselves, and to then maximise their development and enjoyment as a player, coach, volunteer, and partner.




Exciting changes coming in 2025

While we’re proud of where RFNC stands, we know there’s always room to improve. In 2025, we’re focusing on some key areas to take the club to the next level:


- “We are one club” – Building stronger connections across all teams, age groups, and areas of RFNC.
- Welcoming & safe environments – Better structures and accountability to support our young people, players, and volunteers.
- Stronger culture – Investing in player development, celebrating achievements, and improving communication across the club.
- Sharing the load – Providing clear opportunities for more people to contribute—because many hands make light work!
- Partnerships for success – Strengthening relationships with sponsors and partners to ensure mutual benefits and support.
- Financial governance – Introducing modern systems to improve transparency and streamline processes.
