Hi everyone,

Due to the current condition of the Western Oval, we will be staying off the ground next week and potentially the following week as well.

With further heavy rainfall forecast this week, we want to do everything we can to protect the surface and give it the best chance to recover for the remainder of the season.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely and reassess the situation at the end of the week once we have a better understanding of the weather and the ground's condition.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation. Looking after our facilities now will help ensure the oval remains in the best possible condition for our players and teams throughout the season.
